Day 336: rest day travel to Glasgow

Best bits: being in the car while it was raining

Worst bits: trying to remember everything to pack

Distance: rest day

Today marked the start of a few days rest for me and a trip back to Glasgow. Of course it was raining, but that didn’t really matter as for a change I was going to be indoors all day. But these three spaniel siblings still had to go for a walk and boy did they get wet.

Of course spaniels always have very wet ears which they dry on the carpet. Here is Skye looking particularly beautiful..

Then it was time to say goodbye to our hosts, Eddie and Shaun. Although we will be back next week.

Eric kindly drove us back to Glasgow through the rain and very large puddles on the road surfaces. We stopped off at the Good Food Café for lunch in Tyndrum.

It was still raining when I arrived at Danny and Sara‘s flat. This is the first time I have seen this flat as they have moved since I started my walk. It’s really lovely with very high ceilings and feels quite spacious. It was great to catch up and spend some time with them.
