Saying goodbye to Bev this morning was a bit emotional as we were both talking about Angela over breakfast in McDonalds.
We were also looking at the photographs of this week’s activities and the amount of ground and experiences covered. Photographs are helpful prompts in a blurry world of coastal walking, where you are in a different place almost every hour.
A farewell hug at the train station and we went our separate ways.

Priscilla is very untidy just now as she is due her weekly clean and tidy. That’s my job on a day off, washing, cleaning, restocking, reorganising, checking levels of water, power, fuel.
Then there are other admin jobs such as responding to emails and messages, checking my routes for the weeks ahead, organising drivers and support crews, looking at overnight parking possibilities, posting and responding on social media, selecting and editing photographs … the list is endless. I think the term rest day is a misnomer!!
All Priscilla’s jobs completed and 3 loads of washing done I had a lovely hot shower and a few minutes rest on the bed. Then Jackie and Alex arrived at the Airbnb they have kindly booked for us for a few days in Conway.
We caught up for the rest of the afternoon and then walked into Conway for a drink and a meal. The sunset was beautiful.

Conway Castle was a great backdrop to our walk back to our home this evening. What an amazing piece of architecture.

My leg was ok while walking although I was very conscious of it. Let’s hope it’s ok tomorrow.

We walked back through the archway I drove Priscilla through earlier today which seemed very tight at the time!

An early night for all of us.
Best bits: seeing Jackie and Alex, hot shower
Worst bits: saying goodbye to Bev
Distance: rest day
