Day 36: rest day Blackpool

After a night in storm Darragh shaking Priscilla side to side it was a sluggish start to the day. Fiona took Poppy for a walk while I sorted out Priscilla which was a job and a half!

Poppy was dropped off at the kennels where she will spend two nights. Fiona and I went on to Asda to park Priscilla. The staff were waiting for us to arrive. Jayne the manager and Angela the community champion were very touched by the hearts.

We checked in our hotel which had strange chairs! Im not sure if the would be better suited to an anatomy lab or a sleazy bar!

Fiona and I braved the rain and went out for a walk along the prom and sampled the seaside entertainment.

Angela loved the entertainments, slot machines, horse racing and she was especially good at the grab machines. So Fiona and I had a go at some of them.

It was back to the hotel to eagerly await the arrival of our Fitsteps family who were travelling from Glasgow.

I dyed my hair pink in readiness for tomorrow.

A few drinks later and a quick run through of our routine and it was time for bed.
