Best bits: the wind and rain finally abating
Worst bits: being confined to Priscilla again
Distance: rest day
After another night of being shaken around by the wind I was trying to get a long lay in this morning but was woken by a call. You know who you are! The high winds and heavy rain continued well into the early evening with just short periods of reprieve from the rain. Added to this the beeping returned. However I found the source but after blowing on the sensors it stopped.

Once again I was confined to Priscilla but did manage a short break for washing up, filling water bottles, disposing of rubbish and emptying the toilet! I also stored the spare gas bottle. What an exciting life I lead. The bottle I was using felt very light and indeed very shortly after it ran out. I had been sensing a smell of gas and so I assume I must have a leak in the system!! One to sort another day due to the rain. I am hooked up on electricity just now so my heating works and so does my microwave.

I managed a few calls and some more logistics later toady as Priscilla wasn’t quite like a roller coaster journey anymore. In between the rain the views improved and I could once again look over towards Skye.

Finally I managed a great view of Gairloch and the direction of my journey tomorrow.

As the day turned to evening I said goodbye to my view.
