Best bits: long lay in bed, arrival of Eric and Ann
Worst bits: not enough time on a rest day!

After a long day yesterday it was great to sleep in until late. I eventually got up at 10:30 am and had a shower before popping across to Asda for a vegetarian breakfast and a cuppa. Then it was a bit of shopping to stock up on mainly snacks.
Eric and Ann arrived early afternoon and we had a catch up and a slice of an enormous lemon drizzle cake that Ann had made. We decanted soup from a ginormous bowl into containers that would fit in the fridge and then somehow got soup all over Priscilla, inside and outside, and all over Eric and Ann!
Eric had a test drive of Priscilla and Ann a refresher in the use of the washing and cooking facilities.
We drove to the hotel where Eric and Ann were staying and had a drink and dinner. Then Eric and Ann dropped me off at Priscilla and collected my laundry that they are kindly going to do tomorrow.
I caught up on some phone calls and other admin and logistics before going to bed.
