Best bits: good company
Worst bits: twitchy legs again!
Distance: rest day
I was overtired last night and so tossed and turned for ages with my twitchy legs not helping. So I slept in this morning until 10am, yippee.
I had missed a call from Maggs who had offered to do my washing and had found my hat down the side of her sofa. She generously popped round to return my hat and collected my washing. What a star.
My job today was to prepare for Zoe’s arrival. When I’m on my own in Priscilla I tend to spread out and so I had to consolidate my stuff and move it back up to my bunk. I had almost finished the cleaning and was doing the washing up as Zoe arrived.

After a sandwich and a chat we popped round to Maggs to collect my washing.

She fed us home made rhubarb crumble which was just yummy and always reminds me of Youth Hostels.
I had a zoom interview with a journalist and then we poured over the maps for tomorrow’s route.

I have now left the English Channel behind and am on the east coast and the North Sea.

Back at Priscilla we had gin and tonic to celebrate Zoe’s arrival and pasta for dinner. I soon put Zoe to work doing the washing up.
